Time Crunch

This week in ISM was entirely focused on completing my original work. As I was a bit behind schedule, this was a lot of work to complete in a short amount of time and I should've managed my time better. However, I am very happy with the way my project came out at the end. A lot of large decisions were made during this week regarding my original work, so I saw a lot of transformation within it. One of the main changes that I made was that I formatted the product as a slideshow. Since my original work was based on the research for my asthma kit, I thought that a slideshow would be the best way to format it. Since this was a decision that I made on the last day when the project was due, it was a bit of a rush to finish it. One thing that I really liked about my original work was the asthma book that I created. As all of my interviews mentioned the importance of asthma education, I liked how I chose to incorporate that element into my kit. Additionally, I have received interest from a mentor. With Coach Goff, I learned the process of having a mentorship at UT Southwestern such as what forms need to be filled out. I am so excited to see where this leads me and happy that I am a step farther in my ISM journey.
