Thinking

This was the first week in ISM that I started thinking about the research showcase as the date got changed again to February. Although the date seems far away to me now, I know that the data is going to come up really fast. I bought the trifold needed to make the display board for the showcase, and that made it real how time is flying by. I have also been looking out for possible people to do a mentorship with. I've been sending out emails to some professionals and even plan to walk into a doctor’s office to find people to interview. I think that with the rise of Covid cases, it may be best to conduct these virtually and start the mentorship out that way as well. I have also done a research assessment this week. As my past research has been over original work for a very long time, it was refreshing to research something which wasn't strictly about it and I feel as if I've learned a lot. The next week is going to be very busy as I have a lot on my plate. I have to be on the lookout for mentorship and interviews, start thinking about the research showcase, and I even want to get a headstart on how I want to do the upcoming original work speech. I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
